Hi there, I'm Megan Sugden! As an award winning portrait photographer based out of Hallock, MN, I believe your family pictures should considered art, and showcased where everyone can enjoy.
If you've ever been stuck on what to do with your photos after a session, or felt like you didn't quite know where to hang a photo or what size, you've come to the right place. I offer a ‘one stop shop’ photography experience by designing wall galleries, albums, and other special products that feature your most cherished memories to display in your home to enjoy for years to come. At the completion of our time together, you will have professional portraits to actually hold in your hands - AND hang up on your wall!

THE EXPERIENCE
TAKE IT ONE STEP AT A TIME
Each portrait session begins with a simple consultation where we talk about what kind of photos you're looking for, your kids names, ages and personalities, and if you want to include anything special in your photographs. We'll also talk about what you hope to do with your photos, if you have an areas of your home you'd like to decorate with the images from your session, or if you're interested in creating a custom photo album with all of the photographs. We're truly going to make this experience something you'll treasure for years to come--so getting to know you better before we begin is the first step!
THE SESSION
Sessions held at Sugden farm are not only beautiful, but FUN too! When we shoot your session here, you will also have access to all my props, including a collection of colorful chairs, several tree swings, a tire swing, a century-old barn, and even a beach! To get around the property we'll hop aboard our 6-passenger Polaris Ranger with plenty of room for your family, your clothes, and even a box to carry props in the back! If you're nervous about what to do or how to pose, don't worry. I'm experienced in posing to create flattering and natural looks. Rest assured I'll be able to work with you to create beautiful images!
THE ORDERING APPOINTMENT
Approximately 2 weeks after your session we will get together again to view your images for the first time, in my newly redesigned studio in Hallock, MN. This is where you get to view your slideshow on a big screen, see all the pictures in person, and place your order. Being able to touch and feel all the available sample products and sizes is a HUGE benefit to your ordering appointment. Make it a fun event and invite the entire family to join in. It's a fun process and experience that truly goes above and beyond, with final images delivered right to your home ready to hang!

This year I am offering brand new collections to serve my clients even better! The full amount spent on your photography collection is put directly towards prints and products. Yes, that’s right--the FULL amount! There is NO session fee and your total investment goes straight back to you to use as a shopping spree to purchase beautiful custom artwork for your home. Artwork includes albums, wall art (canvas, standout or metal), mounted prints or digital files.
the mini collection (500)
- Up to 45 minute session, 1 outfit, one location (chose from studio session or outdoor session at Sugden Farm) and a virtual ordering appointment online, with the full $500 to use as credit for prints and products. Receive a complimentary web-sized digital file of every image you order. $250 down payment required to book with the remainder due the day of session.
the meadow collection (995)
- Up to 1.5 hour session, 2 outfits, one location (choose from studio, outdoor at Sugden Farm, urban setting downtown or location of your choice around Kittson County) and an in-person ordering appointment at my studio held approximately 2 weeks after your session, with the full $995 to use as credit for prints and products. Receive a complimentary web-sized digital file of every image you order. $475 down payment required to book with the remainder due the day of session.
the woods collection (1500)
- Up to 2 hour session, unlimited outfits, unlimited locations (choose from studio, outdoor at Sugden Farm, urban setting downtown or location of your choice within 75 miles) and an in-person ordering appointment at my studio held approximately 2 weeks after your session, with the full $1500 to use as credit for prints and products. Receive a complimentary web-sized digital file of every image you order. $750 down payment required to book with the remainder due the day of session.
Approximately two weeks after your session you will come back to my studio to use up your credit and make selections of your favorite images. I will guide you through the entire process from start to finish and take care of all the details so you can enjoy your photographs on your walls where they were meant to be!
